Fed up of getting stuck in traffic driving the kids around? Combusting with frustration when you can't find a parking spot? A cargo bike could be just what you need…
What is a cargo bike?
The ultimate parenting hack, these bikes can carry up to 1-3 children within them as well as all their “stuff”. They are electric, which means tackling hills, dropping the kids to school and then heading into work has never been easier. Cargo bikes are rapidly increasing in popularity throughout Richmond, so you’ll soon see one swooshing by you.

What to expect?
Think of it as a speed dating event between families who are thinking about buying a cargo bike, and families who have already taken the plunge! You’ll be able to test ride some different bikes and chat about how they are working for families. Find out first hand the answers to common questions like:
How much quicker is it than driving or public transport ?
(*Spoiler Alert* expect hours of your life back)
What are the most affordable options?
What’s the right model for your family ?
Can they carry all the kids stuff ?
(Yes, you can load them up - backpacks, sports kits , instruments- all covered!).
Where & how do families store their bikes?
How young can you start?
(There are baby seats for 2 month olds available).
